Little Monsters
I just got word that my short story Little Monsters has been accepted for publication in an upcoming Halloween-themed anthology from J. A. Mes Press titled In Creeps the Night.
It's a longish flash fiction story at just under their thirteen hundred word limit. I spent the last couple of days before the deadline cutting it down to size. I haven't seen a cover or know of any other stories that have been accepted (there are to be fifty in all), but I'll keep you posted!
The original call for submissions press release is here.

Congrats!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I don't have a date when it will be out, but it should be before Halloween. It's a charity anthology with proceeds going to Mothers Without Borders. The purpose of Mothers Without Borders is to address the needs of orphaned and abandoned children.
DeleteThat is excellent news! Congratulations, K. Well done.
ReplyDeleteThanks! The next few months should be an interesting time for me. In addition to this story, my pirate/horror/sort of comedy story, Skarrett's Treasure, should be out in Fringeworks' Dead Men's Tales anthology. Now if I only had time to write a little more often...
